Awesome! I remember my early days as an oracle DBA, I lost count of the number of times I had to study and try to understand the various components that make up the database architecture. When the whole thing seemed complex, I doubted if I'll ever make a successful DBA. But the moment I began to understand each individual component of the architecture, the whole picture began to make much more sense.
Let me end with this quote I saw somewhere... "Without a solid foundation, you'll have trouble building anything of value."
